Wendell Hehena Letter To Harry Kim

Here is Wendell/Keola's actual letter sent to Big Island mayor, Harry Kim. We are still patiently waiting for a response. Please support our website so we can pay for Keola's therapy and discourage him from this behavior.

Mayor Harry Kim
25 Aupuni Street
Hilo, Hawaii 96720

Dear Mayor Kim,

I have an idea that I would like to share with you about your
beautiful town!

The other day, I was sitting around eating Doritos with my pet
mongoose, "Cedrick". (I got Cedrick from an intoxicated bassoon
player a few years ago.)

Anyway, we were wondering if it might be possible to change
the name of the city of Hilo to;

Gi-lo

Cool huh? Kind of what Jennifer Lopez did with her name, but
much more emotionally complex.

Will you please write to me and tell me how to get this done?
I am very motivated and I have good people skills and I think
you are the best mayor ever! Please make a bumper sticker that
says, "Harry Kim Rules!" so I can put it on my skateboard and
on all the abandoned cars in my neighborhood. I would also be
willing to carve your initials on the mango tree by Chock's
store.

Do I need to form a committee? How about a petition? Is a
campaign song a good thing or does it detract from the issue?

Someday I may be writing to you and addressing my letter
to Gi-lo, Hawaii. This is so exciting! Cedrick and I can't wait!

Sincerely,

P. Wendell Hehena III
Future G-lowan
