More Info On The Keola Beamer / Carlos Nakai Collaboration

The concert on November 27, 2004 will be performed in three sections. To honor Nakai's presence on Maui, Keola and Moanalani will first play a solo set. R. Carlos Nakai will follow with a second solo set. After this, there will be a 20 minute intermission.

The final part of the evening will begin with a special chant, by Maui's own Charles Ka'upu a renown chanter and performer, who recently released his own beautiful CD entitled Ke Aka - Reflections: Past, Present, Future. This will be followed by the presentation of a collaborative work that Keola & R.C. have been creating over the past several months. These works are in the process of being recorded for Canyon Records and will be released during the first quarter of 2005.
